Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal praised the
"brilliant" Antoine Griezmann, but hopes his team
can contain the Atletico Madrid star.
Griezmann shapes as a huge threat to Madrid
ahead of the Champions League semi-final first leg
between the teams at the Santiago Bernabeu on
Tuesday.
The France international is considered one of the
world's best players, albeit behind Cristiano
Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Asked what Griezmann needed to do to reach
Ronaldo's level, Carvajal said both deserved
praise.
"They are two different players, two world
superstars," he said.
"Griezmann is a brilliant player. I really hope he
has a career full of successes.
"I wish him the best, apart from in this tie."
Griezmann has scored 25 goals in all competitions
this season, leading to reported interest from the
likes of Manchester United.
