league and I want to thank God for this great thing he
has done for me.
" Scoring 41 league goals in my first season with my
club, It's an amazing achievement for a first timer. It
has never happened before in the league, it's the
highest number of goals scored by an individual in a
season," Okoye said.
He concluded by appreciating his teammates and
officials of the club " Goal scoring is not a one man
show, so I want to thank all my teammates and the
officials of the club for the support and words of
encouragement. I would not have achieved this feat if
they hadn't supported me."
