Iwobi in, Nwakali out as Arsenal travel to Sydney

SUPER Eagles ace, Alex Iwo has been named in Arsenal FC 25-man squad for the English side two weeks tour of Sydney, Shanghai and Beijing, while fellow countryman, Kelechi Nwakali was excluded, reports www.footballnab.ml.
The defending FA Cup champions left the UK on Sunday night and will arrive Sydney early on Tuesday morning. Nwakali, who impressed while on loan at Dutch second division club Maastricht last season resumed training with The Gunners last week at London Colney. The development, means that the 19-year-old may be sent on loan before the commencement of the Europe club season and close of the transfer window. Meanwhile, club-record fee signing Alexandre Lacazette is on the squad while Alexis Sanchez who helped Chile to finish runners-up in the FIFA Confederation Cup in Russia has been given time to rest. Petr Cech (GK), Emi Martinez (GK) and David Ospina (GK). Krystian Bielik, Cohen Bramall, Francis Coquelin, Mohamed Elneny, Olivier Giroud, new signing, Sead Kolasinac, Laurent Koscielny, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Donyell Malen, Per Mertesacker, Nacho Monreal, Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah. Two in Sydney, against local sides Sydney FC on Thursday, July 13 and Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday, July 15. The squad then flies to China, where we play Bayern Munich in Shanghai on Wednesday, July 19, before heading to Beijing where we play Chelsea in the Bird’s Nest Stadium on Saturday, July 22.
