2023 Presidency: Udom's Economic Development Model Can Restore Nigeria

2023 PRESIDENCY: UDOM'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MODEL CAN RESTORE NIGERIA.

Nigeria as a country is  bedeviled by both  Economic and security challenges which  really needs a President that possesses the understanding of the security situation and the depth of  economic  rot and possible solutions to the problems.

One Aspirant that stands tall both in experience and understanding of the complex problem of the country is Gov. Udom Emmanuel. Gov. Emmanuel, an Investment Banker has shown through his dexterous management of Akwa Ibom State in terms of fiscal discipline and taming the tide of banditry, cultism,  kidnapping and isolating the state from conspicuous insecurity around the regions deserves to be supported by all Nigerians.

Nigeria  is blessed by an unquantifiable natural and Human resources but how the country which some years ago experienced oil boom, had excess oil account, had a stable foreign exchange rate now became a sleeping Giant should be a source of worry for most Nigerians hence a call for introspection.

Like Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State is blessed beyond bounds by both human and material resources but had remained a consumption economy powered by a civil service workforce. The Entrepreneurship spirit of the people did not go beyond the  peasant model. The farming practices was also  largely pleasantly. Many former Governors made effort to tackle infrastructure. However Udom Emmanuel came from day one  to tackle Industrialization of the state and to stimulate the enterprising energies of the people through Agricultural revolution, small and  medium business enhancement scheme  and still continued the infrastructural renaissance from where his predecessors stopped. Despite the COVID 19 pandemic Conundrum, it is instructive to note that, this did not stop Gov. Udom Emmanuel Agenda.

How did Gov. Udom Emmanuel succeed to revolutionize industry and set Akwa Ibom State in an economic pedestal to compete economically with other economically viable states in Nigeria within a period of seven years ?  This is why Nigeria needs Gov. Udom Emmanuel as their next President.
