leadership as some perceive is not just a walk-in one shop for any freelancer. Far from that, it is work, much work, calculations and mostly, it is the game of the mind! In all these, Peace is the catalyst that guarantees successful implementation of leadership goals and objectives.
Mr Udom Emmanuel has proven to be one of Nigeria’s finest leader whose peaceful disposition, efforts and strategies has made Akwa Ibom even a more peaceful geographic space.
Relatively, Akwa Ibom State is one of the most peaceful, serene and harmonious environment in Nigeria. It does not mean that there were no agitations, suggestive and instigative situations in the state to disrupt the peace by a few folks, but the man at the helms knew what to do to tend all those tides and restored long lasting peace.
Apparently, the Nigeria situation can be no different if we allow the man who knows the game to take charge and restore our nation to the path of peace that we all longed for.
Peace alone is a great vehicle for the development of any kind: human, capital and infrastructure. Definitely without being told, no nation, people or community can boost of any progress in the midst of chaos and unrest. Of course, peace is never a one man business but collective responsibility and partnership.
Obviously Udom Emmanuel cannot achieve this alone, even though he has his strategies and modules for maintaining peace in place, his actions and body language speaks inclusion. What this means is that, our supports are paramount in achieving the building of a new Nigeria. In the words of John Gardner, “Great things happened nationally when topmost leadership is goaded and supported from below”.
Therefore, as we can see and feel the tangibility of insecurity in Nigeria, Udom Emmanuel is here to salvage Nigeria just as he worked assiduously in maintaining peace in Akwa Ibom.
